So for this post I was unsure where to place it and decided it belonged here. Some of you may know that I originally come from a very beautiful and tiny country, Armenia. In the last two weeks my country was in distress whilst a revolution was taking place. A lot of people are now unsure of what will happen next in their lives and how to take life from now onwards. Although, I understand that I cannot contribute anything to make the situation any better, my heart is filled with pain and sorrow. Such things put a lot of things in perspective and somehow we become more appreciative of our lives.
Despite te the political unrest, Armenia is a beautiful country and Yerevan, the capital, has a lot to offer. The people in Armenia do not have luxurious lifestyle nor do they have much money and yet they are happier by so many times more than people that surround me here in Switzerland. You will always see us on the streets in summer drinking coffee or hear a party from somewhere in a park. I miss it every day.
